So I'm thinking about setting up a 30 Gallon Feeder tank using one of those large rubber maid containers they sell at Lowes/Home Depot.

It would house feeder fish, so if I lose a few it's not the end of the world (they don't have the best life expectancy anyways lol)

I can't really mount a Bio Wheel or HOB Filter, what would you guys/gals suggest? Keeping in mind this is on a budget.

Once cycled I'd have a pretty decent bio-load (maybe 2/3 dozen 1" fish)

You might be able to setup a canister filter, then you would be able to use the canister if you happen to buy another tank (that would be large enough for the filter to handle). If you don't intend on getting another tank or a canister filter is out of the question due to the lack of financial means, sponge filters might be a reasonable option for filtration.

You could use a sponge filter.

Any suggestions on brand? Keeping budget in mind?
