When i feed my fish they all only eat flakes, I put some msisy shimp and krill (sea stare and shimp chow this stuff). freezed dried brine shrimp but, no takers. Just wonding if this is normal or unhealth for them to eat the same stuff over and over ever day.

I alternate feeding flakes and Ocean Nutrition frozen cubes. I find that the fish like to eat the cubes much more if they are fed sparingly. I usually feed the frozen cubes every third day. In between I use flakes.

If your fish are being finicky eaters, try soaking the frozen food in garlic juice before adding it to the tank. Fish LOVE It!

I have never used flakes on my saltwater kids mainly because they are all spoiled and will just look away if it is offered. I feed frozen cubes of most of Ocean Nutritions line daily. They all love it and rarely have a problem with disease and have never had a problem with HLLE. Hope this helps.

I run a maintenance company and use auto feeders. So my fish get 99% flake foods. I use a rotation of different flake foods ( usually have about 12 different types from different companies). I do feed the anemones, crabs, starfish and some of the corals each week when I am at the tank for maintenance; fish, scallops, shrimp or squid. The fish usually steal some. Fish are healthy, growing and even spawning in some of the tanks.

Try feeding frozen Ocean Nutrition. I will higly doubt that they will turn it down. Try Formula One at first. Also what fish are you trying to feed. It is harder to get fish to eat flakes than it is to get them to eat frozen. Plus you can't try once and give up. You will have to try for a week or so, so they can get adjusted to the food.

Flake has pretty much what they need.
