My Firemouths are finally in the big (relatively big) tank after 10 days in quarantine. I thought they would take a few days to adjust but they immediately went about the business of kicking everyone out of their established homes. its kind of nice because i get to see some of the guys that spend all day hiding. They are the biggest fish in the tank for now but things wont be that way for long. eventually it will just be them and a couple convicts in this tank. Anyone interested in having a look can see them here:

those fish look ver nice, just keep an eye on them because they're in with some tough customers.

thanks. most of the "bad" boys are destined for a larger tank. but to your point its already a bit testy in there. Ive done well with convicts and firemouths before so i think when the tank is all there's things will be fine.

I agree, no problem with cons and fm's, I was referring to the red devils and some of the others in the photo gallery. how big is where you have them now?

its only 55g. if i were to leave everyone in there all but the devils and maybe the Jags might as well be chopped up with a little mayo. i recently moved and am renting a condo. the owner isn't comfortable with anything over 55g. once i find a place to buy ill have at least a 6 foot set up.
