I have a bare bottom tank for my frog, and then have several chunks of wood in there with plants growing on them (anubias, african ferns). I also have some potted plants, but that might take up too much space in a 10. The frog will happily hide under the wood, as well.

I had a clawed frog and an albino clawed frog for a while. That 10 gallon may get a bit cramped for one of them. Mine lived for a few years and got to be bigger than my hand. Fun little buggers :) I'd look into some fake plants for that situation. They love to dig around and kick things that get in their path. If the plants cant firmly root to anything, they dont stand a chance IMO.

Heres an idea, you can get "planting rocks" foster smith sells them. They are fake hollowed out rocks that you can use to put plants in. Easy to remove for cleaning the tank and realy plants too!
