View Full Version : I got my first tattoo!
I got it at Studio One near Philly by Paul Palladino. Molly was my first and only dog. When she died it was my first time dealing with death. Molly was 9 and 9 moths she died a year ago on July 8th. I got the tat on the 9th. The 8th was a Sunday when theres only one guy who had appointments. Molly was one of those dogs who have a presence of a child more so then a dog. She got really really sick really quick. They have no idea what was causing everything, they biopsied every organ. Her blood stopped quagulating(sp) and she was barely getting enough oxygen even in the oxygen tank. It came to the point that we were being selfish keeping her alive.

I would, but I like having hair.
I was surprised how painless it was. Just felt like when your sunburn gets touched.

Depends on how long your sunburn gets touched I guess. My Piccolo tat stung for days 'after' it was done. But was pretty painless during the actual tattooing...

That's a pretty nice way to remember your dog. You shouldn't have to worry too much about having to explain it to the next dog you meet.
I wish mine only hurt as bad as a sunburn. I <explicit lyrics> near passed out after mine (I'm a wuss.) I went to have mine done on a hot day and whatever water I hadn't sweat out of my body in the heat I sweat out on the bench (I left a sweat outline... it was disgusting.) I was glad I decided to only have one of the platonic solids tattooed on my leg instead of all of them.

What part of your body is it on?

Great tatt, Jess. And a good artist too. Mine hurt like a mutha as it was in center of lower back, third chakra, bony location. Had to get myself into the "Zone" for almost 4 hours. It's for personal energy, not decoration for some man to get off on. LOL That's what boobies are for.:grinyes:

LMAO!! that's funny Rosita.... I got one there too as a thing with my twin. We both got the same ones for our birthdays but hers is pink, mine blue. It's a bonding thing. Hurt? OH GOD YES!!! I wouldn't ever suggest that spot or the chest area. Both areas are a nightmare.
