ok so i have alot of peppermint shrimp fry in my 55gal tank, i mean like all over, and i want to try and raise them. i turned off my filter for the night and powerheads. my protein skimmer is still on tho so there is still circulation in my tank
all i know is to use a 2 liter soda bottle upsidedown and put an airstone on the bottom using fine bubbles. and to get the fry out of my tank to shine a light they all will be attracted to and syphon them out.
so what do i feed them?
how?
when? i dont know anything.
any and every information will help. i figure if i dont know what im doing by tomaro afternoon ill just try again next time and turn my 55gal tank back on.

Personally I'd wait until you read up on it. I hear they will spawn often and that the fry are very difficult to raise. Most seem to consider it free fish food instead of trying to raise them. You might want to check out the book "How to Train and Raise Peppermint Shrimp" by April Kirkendall

funny you sugest that. i just bought it on amazon lol. i hear its a fun read. i have no fish in my 55gal so they have no preditors. whats gonna kill then is the powerheads and filter. i dont want to leave them off but all i have is a CB shrimp 2 peppermints and a bunch of hermits so it is doable until i read up on it. that is to say they wont starve to death in thoes 5-6 days. what do you think i should do? i feel bad just killing them all.
if there gonna die i might as well feel tehm to my new mollies i put in my 7gal
