Looks pretty good. Do your firemouths try to hide much? Mine are always hanging out under driftwood or a slate cave I made for them, they come out all the time, but like the security of cover nearby. I didn't see much cover in your tank, maybe your firemouths are less scardy-cats than mine.

Mine are a little skittish, but are generally out and about the tank through-out the day. They generally aren't that scared in the tank, unless you run up and start pounding on the glass, in that case they freak out. I have 2 kids ages 4 and 6, so they tend to bang on the side of my tanks to scare the fish. As for cover i have the piece of medium size drift wood, and the main center rock piece has a small area for 1 fish to hide in, iI also have a cave in the corner made from a huge rock and a piece of slate rock. I'm going to be getting rid of all the fish in my 40g, so that I may switch it over to a Lake Malawi African Community Tank, UNLESS my FireMouths do happen to spawn, and in that case I'll be picking up some more rock formation pieces to add additional hiding spots.
