will any media baskets fit the eheim 2215 or 2217? I need to go to a higher capacity filter from my 2213, and would prefere to stick to the eheim classics, but hate the thought of not having media baskets and the ecco's don't seem to rate out as well.
no, I am not interested in going to a non canister since i run CO2.

There isnt an option to use media baskets in the eheim classic series.
if you want media baskets and high performance, look to the eheim 2026.

If you're not willing to spend 200 dollars, then buy a rena XP3 and run it in addition to your 2213.

what are you taling about LF?? I have 2 2213 classics, and they have media baskets.... but i doubt a media basket from a 2213 will fit into the larger 2217s etc.
my 2213s also came with media.... one is the regular, and the other is the pro version (includes efisubstrat pro instead of just regular efisubstrat)

Mine didnt come with any baskets?!
I bought a 2215 with "everything"
Fine white pad, the blue one, the bio media, etc.

Andrew, was yours the classic plus 2215? I know my 2213 came with everything including a basket, but I thought the 2215 and 2217 didn't and it was just layered in?
Man, if theres a version of the 2215 with the basket, that makes things easier for sure.

Yea it was the classic 2215 rated for a 93 gallon tank.
Dam this sucks. lol.

makes me glad I didnt buy one lol....
so there is a 2215/17 and a 2215/17 "classic" which include media baskets?
is that correct?

Hmm, I have a 2217 without a basket! That would definitely make it easier to clean!

the one being produced now have media baskets and built in o-rings, so quality has improved, not that it was bad anyway
