Can anyone ship snails to the UK? if so could you post the type of snail, price and shipping cost? it might take me a while to get back to you cause im going on holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks. thanks

What snails did you want there are loads for sale on ebay, Trumpet snails and Apple Snails and for a very reasonable price.

I've got loads of golden apple snails. I'd ship them to you for what it costs me to ship them. I looked at the usps website, and they require a zip code to tell me the shipping costs. Don't know how much the snails are going for, but my LFS offered me $ .50 each - how does that sound?

Just curious... Is that legal? I see shipping offers from hobbyists for out of country transport of livestock and plants and I'm surprised it can be done with out a permit. Is one not neccessary or are people just doing it with the hopes that nothing ever comes of it?

I have no idea - I know that my local pet store wants to buy apple snails from me because they are now "illegal" in Alabama according to him. I'm guessing that means they are illegal to ship in to Alabama now. So his wholesalers can't sell them to him anymore. I use mine as fish food for yoyo loaches.
