It's been a long while since I have posted because I thought all was going well with my tank (30g). Woke up this morning and just miraculously noticed these things on the inside glass of the tank. They are so small .....look like tiny white worms. Don't see any on my fish.....just near the glass. But again they are so small that who knows where else they are. Feel like a bad fish parent lol. Does anyone know what they could be and what I can do about it? Thanks for any help out there!!!! .......dnctla89

it could be planaria or hydra. both are a sign of failing water quality and/or overfeeding. what are your water parameters?

I would agree with JM at this point. What are your water readings, what's you typical maintenance routine and are you over feeding and allowing the excess to remain in the tank?
Gravel vacs and a lot of partial water changes over time will rid these from your tank. They are mostly harmless, thankfully...but they are a species that thrives in poor water with high nitrogen and decaying matter trapped in the substrate

yeah overfeeding does sound like the key to this... either that or a recent filter crash. No large quantities of fish added recently, messing with filter media or an unusually large water change?
