Duck Weed

Does Duck weed have any food value? Due to the heavey rains occuring in this area the weed is MASSIVE in quanity . a 5 gal. bucket would take about 5 min. to harvest so it would be no effort to dry and grind. Any info welcome.

I thought someone said they use it in salads in south east asia, but I really have no idea. goldfish are known to love to eat it

meant no offense. I read it on this forum, and it seemed plausable, since it is a fairly nutrient rich plant. where in south east asia are you?

I've posted this before, but here you go, just about everything good about duckweed(and some not-so-good). This includes its tremendous potential as a livestock feed due to its high protein content.
