View Full Version : Yellow Lab Tank (56k warning)

Here are some pics of my yellow lab tank. Its a 40 gallon breeder tank. I mainly just breed these guys inexchange for black worms at the LFS. There are about 8 adults in there, and approx. 15 juvies. Currently, there are 2 females holding. The Ngara Flame tail (blue fish) I bought as a female, shortly after purchase it started to color up.

There are approx. 80 lbs of Texas Holey Rock in there.

As you can see, they like to dig. This hole goes all the way to the glass underneath the sand...

Thanks, its Texas Holey Rock...or limestone that has eroded in certain areas. I also added some holes using a drill and a masonry bit...not something I recomend doing unless you are really dedicated...its a pain.

Cichlid flakes, plus an ocassional algae tablet.

Out of the tap it is 8, but with the Texas Holey Rock and the Aragonite sand, it is probably a little bit higher.
