When I set up my new 125g this afternoon, I noticed the two single tube strip lights that came with the tank did not provide enough lighting. I am no electrician but I understand that simply installing light tubes with more watts would not be technically sound. Am I correct? Is there any way I can solve this problem without having to spend too much money?

go to home depot or lowes and buy another shop light. get daylight deluxe bulbs.... problem should be solved very cheaply.

This might be a stupid question this I'm pretty clueless in this area but do I keep the hood (or light fixture) and just replace the bulbs?

Thanks!
