I now have a 30 gallon tank and I'm interested in cichlids. I am looking for species with a lot of color. Can anybody be of any help?

Want vivid color? How about Neolamprologus leleupi. Bright orange-yellow. Any of the blue and brown stripey neo's (cylindricus, tretocephalus...) are great too, and sized well for a 30.

Would be OK to put one male Neolamprologus cylindricus and one male Neolamprologus cylindricus in the same tank, or will they fight?

Would be OK to put one male Neolamprologus cylindricus and one male Neolamprologus cylindricus in the same tank, or will they fight? There's a good chance one will end up in a corner, trying to be invisible. Why not a female? Mine is prettier than the males, with much more distinct stripes.
