Is this picture Red Slime?

I've had this "clump" of red crap growing in one small spot in my tank. it clumps up the sand that it forms on. Is this Red Slime Algae? Should I remove it from my tank? Thanks!!!

Yes, that is cyano/red slime. Natural part of a tank. Some get rid of it with high flow and sucking it out. Some just let it run it's course. Some use an additive but I try not to use those.
