my female cray (ronnie) shed her shell last night. but to my surprize she has only 1 claw!!!!!

could this of been a bad molt or has she been attacked by my male cray (reggie):wall:

i have never seen them fight b4. they have been all over each other b4 but never to the extent of fighting or even been agressive towards each other.
 
They are pretty agressive when they mate and the male clamps the females claws in his. Very possible that if she mated that is what happened.

I would assume that right after a molt and she is missing a claw that she lost it in the molt. It will grow back but I would watch to see if there are any further problems molting and go from there.
 
my cray had a second shed and all is great no probs this time claws and legs all back. so i guess it was the other cray taking advantage of the situation.

by the way the female i am talking about is actually a male and my female as i thort is a male.
