Hey all, I started an African Cichlid tank a month and a half ago. It is a 29 and filtration is an Emperor 400. The tank holds 2 A Compresiceps (Calvus)-mine- and my friend is boarding her 2 Labiodichromis and C Borleyi male. She will be boarding for about a month and all get along great. Once hers are gone I would like to stock with some of my favs like a Lab, a pair of Brichardis and a pair of Julies (we have a mated pair at the place I work, the last batch only produced one which we still have but they are still kinda small) and the Calvus I currently have. Would this be okay stock or will it be over kill? Thanks for any suggestions.

29g its kind of small tank? in small tanks i belive the brichardi take over the tank when breeding,if they can(thinking of the julies),in sutch small tank i only go for one species, try shellies, for ex multies.

haha I bet that emp. 400 looks odd on the back of a little 29 gallon, how the hell did you get it to fit :p. did ya do some custom carving on the hood?
