The brown gelatinous round thing is new.
As is the green globes about a mm or less in diameter. I`ve never seen anything like the green globes (but I havent seen a lot)

The pointed thing sticking out of the sand is new

Lots of these termite- like tubes with 2 threads

Is this the red-legged crab and did he desert his shell ?

Lots of algae colonies of various colors, red, green, brown, appearing on the glass and a thin green tree branching growth that looks like FW hair algae. Except it branches

Any identification would be helpfull.
Does this qualify as a reef yet ? LOL

Oh noooo! The green globes are bubble algae, and I'm told that it spreads really fast. When you remove it, be careful not to pop the "bubbles" or spores will spread all over and it will get worse. The brown round thing is a mushroom- cool! The smaller brown round things in a colony are polyps of some sort, also cool. I don't know about the rest of the stuff, I can't see it too well in the pics.

Isn't SW cool? BTW, you posted this in the FW newbie section, hopefully a mod will move it.:)

With the green globes...I just used my feeding tube to suck them out so that I would not run the risk of the globe bursting. I haven't seen a reoccurrence of them once I removed the existing ones.

The tanks under my care are a No Killing Zone. Its not my place to determine what lives and what doesnt. I have plenty of room for all the life forms that develops.

polyps
bubble algae - pest
don't know this one, can you zoom in closer?
tube worms
crab, but don't know what kind

On the bubble algae killing it would be akin to killing mold in your shower before it takes over so you can't use it.

Great analogy Grins.

The sad part with Bubble Algae is that little globes are actually kinda pretty, but when I heard how invasive it could be I keep a close eye out for them. None so far (knock wood).
