I have 2 percula clownfish and royal gramma. I want to finish the stocking of my tank and I need suggestions on what I should do with this stocking. It needs to be reef safe too. Any suggetions on what I should do would be great. I'm open to any sort of stocking. Thanks

i have cardinals. they are lovely and good swimming fish that are constantly swimming all over the tank. they are timid though, so I'd get a few.

A Pygmy angel might work but you'd have to research the different varieties to find one that totally Reef safe with the Corals you have.

You can put all sorts of fishies in there. You could probably get away with a small tang, you could put any number of small angels, you could do any number of wrasses, you could do some gobies, a foxface, some chromies, etc...

Pretty much anything but large fish or one's that will eat corals.

:)

I think angels are great too. If you chose to get one, feed it a good amount of food each day with a large healthy variety of foods it likes. Other than feeding, it will require luck too. Each angel is different.

Fairy wrasses are pretty cool too. Even a small school of like 3 Cardinals would be neat to see, but that would finish off your stocking just about.

i might be a little nervous adding the cardinals... don't know about your clowns and royal gramma but mine are pretty mean. my pj cardinal was in the tank first so they don't bother it but i know they would if it had gone in after them... they do bug my firefish quite a lot (the clowns) which went in last with they royal gramma. maybe if you put in like 3 cardinals it would be ok..? i'd go with a pygmy angel and some chromis, maybe a foxface... so many possibilities!

thanks for all the help, I'm thinking and going to do some reseach on what fish I'm going to add. I will get back to you guys and tell you what I'm gonig to do.

I just got a lawnmower blenny and he is awesome, but make sure he will eat off a clip, otherwise you will have to overfeed to make sure their is enough algae each day for him to feed off. Not aggressive, but it will not take crap from ANY fish and will holds it's own basically.

Also I have a Diamond Watchman Goby, tons of personality, and he will stir up the sand, and dig a home. You do not have a bottom dwelling fish, so he would be nice, since he will rarely swim to the upper reaches of the tank, except during feeding. And mine does not take any crap from the clown I have.

Both are reef safe.

My favorite fish for a 55 gallon is a foxface rabbitfish. The size is just right for this tank, and it is a great herbivore which will keep the inevitable hair algae bloom under control. Since the introduction of mine, all undesirable algae has disappeared, and they are much less picky about eating the nuisance species than most tangs. They also have a great disposition, though sometimes shy, and are completely reef-safe.
