Right now I have this cichlid 10gl tank. I usually just have juviniles in it and when they get about 2-3 inches I swap them out for a new generation with the LFS. The setup I have right now looks a little too... well.... poor lol. I have in the works a project of making a cave background for the tank. As seen on
duboisi's website. That should add a good effect to the back of the tank with black lava rock. As for the gravel in not sure whether I should keep it and work with it or swap it out? Im really not wanting to swap it out (Due to cycling again). Im thinking of taking out about 5-10% of gravel in the tank and adding alot of stacked slate rocks and so on in the center to give a cave look. I will be using a hot gun to hold them together in a small triangle. How would you all go about in redesigning this puppy, is my idea good?
