Best Site to Buy a Tank

Look in the newspapers. Sometimes, people who are getting ready to move will let theirs go cheap.

Shipping glass aint cheap or cost efective.
You can get a 125 for $299 almost anywhere.

There are a few places that will ship tanks, but it will cost a lot, especially for glass. Check locally first, and you can visit www.all-glass.com for their vendors. I imagine most manufacturers would have something similar.

Watch eBay- just set your search parameters to give you local results. I just picked up a very nice 90g tank, stand, and canopy for $200. It was exactly what I paid $850 for at my LFS not a month earlier. No more new tanks for me!

Shipping a hundred gallon glass tank has got to be exhorbidant pricewise. Hate to take a chance of shipping dilemas too.

Look in local classified or one of the auction sites. Maybe even post something on local laundramat bulletin board, but you gotta stick close to your home.

I just picked up a 200 gallon acrylic tank and stand for $100 in my local news paper. BUT always remember, BUYER BEWARE. I found a small leak in the tank. But I am confident I can repair it with no problem.
