1 Big Tank vs 2 Small tanks for feeders?

I currently have a 30g Rubbermaid, was thinking about upgrading to a 55g Rubbermaid.

So, which would be better:
Pair of 31g Rubbermaids Tanks or 55g Rubbermaid
Nice thing about a big one is shared filtration
