Today I was looking at my plants while cleaning my fish tank and I noticed a longer part of the plant had this weird looking thing at the end of the branch or whetever you call it. It doesent look like the other part of the plants because they all have leafs. Well this one has like a little flower or something like growing on it. I think its for reproduction on the plant. Im not too sure what it is but can someone Identify it for me. >>>??

It is flowering. Mine would grow several inches per day! one ended up being four feet long before it finally opened up!

by the way skitty, i know your good with plants so maybe you could help me out. I am shopping on aquariumplants.com looking for plants to stock my 10gl with once I get the DIY CO2 Hagen going. Im looking for plants that donot grow over 8-9" in height and can thrive in soft-hard water conditions and within a PH range of 6.0-7.5. Any suggestions?

at the moment I am having good luck with dwarf sagitarius (sp?), crypts, pennywort( or pondpenny, something like that). But in my tank everything but the sag is over 8-9". I keep the penny? short by cutting off the tops and throwing away the bottoms. I then replant the tops. Just trial and error. I have killed numerous plant. I also have a compacta sword, doesn't get as big and tall as an amazon.
