This year for some reason I have hundreds of little black fry. At first I thought they were baby koi. I saw a few that were pink but they are gone probably eaten. I thought the others would start to turn colorfull as they grew but the are getting bigger like an inch or 2 but they are still black. I don't know where the came from. Its possible they might be from one of the feeder gold fish I put in the pond years ago to see if they would live. Or are they Koi? I don't know help

Are the feeder goldfish still in the pond? I've seen some feeder goldfish that were more blackish/silver/dark grey. It's possible.

There are some black feeders in the pond. 1-2 that I can see and they are about 6" long. Is it possible thats its from them? These little fish look more like Killies as we used to call them. They have long slender bodies. Could be koi body but desnt look like Gold fish. I'll try and get pictures
