I have a feather duster I have had for about 6 months and is doing fine and all of a sudden it started( 2 days ago )to release what looks like to be dust balls ( looks like it's tube is coming up thru it's top)out of the feathers,when it gets some in the top toward the feathers it will spin and the dust balls will fly out. I would like to know what it is doing and why . 
I have not seen it do this before so I'm confused need help!
