View Full Version : Plastic flower pots - safe to use?

My mother went to walmart today so I asked her to pick me up some flower pots. She got plastic ones instead of the clay ones (my fault, I didnt specify), are they safe to use?
They will probably be fine once washed, though they might not sink very well, unless they are really dense thick plastic.

Im going to turn them on their sides and put gravel in them so they wont float.

fake plants come to mind;)
i've used them. plastic is fine, i would suggest washing them well tho....
the real problem is bouyancy, mine floated. :D

2 of them have been in 2 seperate tanks since yesterday and no dead fish yet, so I think theyre ok. :)
