MICHIGAN SUX!!!

Hi, since michigan sucks so bad,my dad has been off and on job wise considering the dieing of the auto industry, we might be moving to anywhere from alabama,north carolina, south carolina, georgia, new york, to arizona. I like alabama alot though. Its just so hard. Our housen goes up to forclosure august 3rd, so that sucks. but im bringing my fishtanks wherever we go,I want either upstate new york, or anywhere in the south. Arizona is too far west for me. We want to be a straight shot up I-75, but what do you guys think? I pray to god he gets a job either in MI, or the south.

We moved from MI to NC this last August (has it been a year already?!) because of a similar situation. The job market in MI is so tied into the automobile industry...

The economy is great in NC, plenty of jobs and a growing population. The govt. takes some getting used to, such as there is no single Sec. of State building in a community where you go to get car tabs and driver's license, you have to go to several places to get it all done. And everyone drives weird when it rains or snows. hehehehe

And the weather's nice too...very little snow...I didn't even break out my Columbia all winter. Only a sweatshirt....

Avoid ALabama if yo must move, TRUST ME ON THIS straight shot down I 65 though

Only if you're not living out west. Man, 33C!! Of course, you'll prolly be shocked it's that "cold". Out here, the hottest days are 20C. Winter can go to -30C. Not all that cold.

man we have a lot of members in NC, I would say NC since we have a coastline Cost of living is average, I lived in CA and COL was OUTRAGOUS!! Plus we have pretty nice LFS.

I would say North Carolina would be my first choice of the states listed. Second would be one that was not listed and that would be Georgia.

I am in Texas for a little over 4 more years and then it will be back North Carolina. I am in NC for my vacation, that is how much we missed it.
