this setup works well for a small tank. I just bought a $10 plastic tank kit from the local K-mart,drilled a couple holes,plumbed it with some pvc from home depot, and wired an incandecent fixture into the hood.it cost all of $20 total.I use a small elite underwater pump to get flow into the fuge.I used the platic tube from an old gravel vacuum with some holes drilled in it to spread the flow and baffle the current.I used an old under gravel filter head to sceen the return.
