Best PC Games

I haven't been catching up with much of the PC games that are out lately.
Anybody know what the best PC games around are? That are worth playing? Any Genre.

I do mostly strategy and RTSes. Dominions 3 is good, Galactic Civilizations is OK if you liked Master of Orion.

I am currently playing Lord of the Rings Online, which is an MMORPG that you pay monthly to play online with lots of other people.

Offline I enjoy The Sims & The Sims 2, Zoo Tycoon & Zoo Tycoon 2, Civilizations 2,3 & 4, Sacred Gold, Oblivion, Diablo 2, Sim City 4, Sea World Tycoon, Fish Tycoon, Titan Quest, Dragonshard, Dungeon Siege 1 & 2, City Life, Dogz, Fable...

Yeah I play a lot of games and spend way too much time on my computer. I go gung ho into a game for like 2 weeks and then I move on. I rarely actually finish any, but I do have fun going back to old games to replay them =)

Call of Duty 2 is real cool, but I like Battlefield 1942 and its add ons etc. Battlefield is a little old (more than a year or better) but you can fly plains, drive tanks etc in it..

Those are some good selections. Any First person mode games that are good, like the Oblivion one... I've heard good things about that one.

What about GTR2 (racing), does anyone recommend that one?

Any good F1 games? Role Playing?

Has anyone played the NWN2?? I have been thinking about getting it, but then I set up that darned SW tank.. Haven't really bought any games in like 6 months or better.

NWN are fun games. They usually have a lot of story line to them and take a long time to get through. I actually make it pretty far into them before I move on to something else =)

some of my favorite PC games are; HALF-LIFE 2!!!!!!!!, couterstrike, oblivion, battlefield 2, battlefield 2142, hitman blood money, and FEAR.

Im not so much into games other than first person shooters, but i did enjoy WOW, warcraft 3, and civ 4.

I played Half-Life 2, it's a nice game, very cool graphics, at times my eyes started to hurt though (could have been b/c I played for too long.)

I'm playing Overlord right now and having a pretty good time with it. It's kinda like a cross between Pikmin and Diablo.

World War II Online (Battleground Europe)
MMPORG/1st person shooter with well modled early '40's rifles, artillery, tanks, boats, planes etc. Play axis or allied, free trials are frequently available. www.playnet.com

PPS - this game will test your hardware, especially your RAM/CPU bandwidth (not that you won't appreciate having a decent video card too).
