Has any tried the API Professional Liquid Test Kit? I've seen the Master Test Kit recommended. Is the Professional Test Kit worth the extra $$$?

i would definitely suggest the professional if you do cichlid tanks.. otherwise, just stick to the master.

Seems that it includes chlorine, GH, KH, and water hardness whereas the master test kit doesn't. Notably, it doesn't mention nitrite, but I'm sure that is probably included. Compare the cost of the master test kit + the tests above and see how much difference there is. I'm sure it's called Pro because it includes chlorine, GH, KH, and water hardness.

meh, i dont think the extra 40 dollars for the pro is worth it. I would just buy the master kit and buy an additional GH and KH kit to go with it. If you use a proper water dechlorinator, you shouldnt have to worry about chlorine levels in your tank.

how much are the GH and KH kits by themselves?
