Hello,
I am in the process of setting up a new 90g tank. Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. It's that instant gratification thing . . . in any event, i (possibly mistakenly) took the advice of the guy at the fishstore and am cycling with live rock and 3 damsels? Is this gonna work?
Also . . . can someone help me as to the timing of adding the cleanup crew, coral, fish, etc. :-) Should I start with anything in particular? I look forward to absorbing all of your vast knowledge . . . so don't let me down

:welcome: I don't know much about saltwater tanks, but I envy you. And you'll get lots more answers if you post in the marine forum. Enjoy the site!

Welcome to AC!...your in good hands here...
Personaly, i would remove the damsels now, they will become very agressive, if they survive the cycle, to other tanks mate...
Cleanup crew can go in once the nitrogen cycle has completed...I.E Ammonia and Nitrite are at zero and Nirate is below 10, and all stayed that way for a week...
Good starting corals are leathers, star polyps and shrooms....
Good starting fish are Clowns, gobys and cardinals....
Follow this link for some easy to care for fish, to give you an idea...

Niko has helped me numerous times so you can trust his advice. Good luck and go sloooooooooooooooow. Even a one year old tank is a new tank in my opinion.
Welcome,
Tom
