View Full Version : Had a minor accident in the tank ...
So I was doing the weekly scrub-down in my tank yesterday, and I accidentally knocked a couple of my rocks off the top ... luckily for me, they fell right down to the sand, without hitting the glass! So I started rearranging the rocks and of course, could not end up getting them the way they were before ... as a result, I had to take apart most of the rocks and rearrange them ... after a frustrating 4 hour marathon, having to cut up one of the rocks cos it just wouldn't fit the way I wanted it to, and a major sand storm in the tank, I got it close to the way it was before (which I quite liked).
My major concern, needless to say, was if all the inhabitants pulled through the stress ... I'm happy to say that all of them survived just fine ... my goby has been giving me the death look all day today and only late this evening has he gotten over his fear that I would stick my hand in there and disrupt his home again!
I figured that this would be a good time to take some updated pictures of the tank since I hadn't in a couple of months.
So, here you go folks ... enjoy!

Very nice tank Yash. Congrats
Nice terracing job with the rocks. The goby looks like he is contemplating if he can take you down if you try mucking with his rocks again though.

looking good man! good to see it turned out well!
Thanks Yuri!
Yeah Grins ... the whole he was staring me down whenever I passed by the tank! He has a grumpy look to start with but he looked even meaner today! He hid under the base rock the whole time after I was done and only ventured out this morning. I love that picture of him peeking out from under that rock! It sure looks like he's contemplating taking me down there!! ha ha!!
Thanks for the comments!!

Yeah ... all night I was nervous as can be that the fish got a little too stressed out ... I had taken down all the rocks besides the base and a couple of other pieces ... so there really wasn't too much room for them to hide! But they hid pretty darn well! Hope little bugger comes out soon!

Ha ha!! You should see him ... every evening, without fail, he sits on the base rock ... its his little evening perch ... like an old man sitting on the front porch in the evening watching the traffic go by!! haha!!
