i am planning on purchasing a 15 gal tank in the next couple months. i have a few questions.
1. What are easiest plants to take care of since I never did it before?
2. Do I need to buy extra supplies for these and if so, what do i need?
3. Do I need extra lighting?
4. Does it matter that my stocking will include african dwarf frogs, cory cats, a dwarf gourami, and either barbs or tetras?
5. On a scale of 1-10, how hard are plants to take care of (if possible, just list a few freshwater plants and put the number next to it)
THANKS GUYS!

java fern, java moss, and anubias sp.

www.rexgrigg.com will give you really good answers to your questions.

you need 1-1.5 watts per gallon for low light plants, 1.5- 2.5 for medium light plants, 3+ for high light plants

Some barbs and tetras eat plants, so check for whichever type you want before getting them.

http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide.php is a great resource for choosing plants based on difficulty and light requirements

What ^ said, but you could also consider Crypts. There are numerous other low light plants, but they're going to be faster growers, especially if you add ferts etc. That makes them higher maint. because of having to frequently trim.
