WARNING: i can go on forever talking about octopuses
im planning an making it a spices only tank as they will eat or be eaten by just about anything
im adding a serpent starfish to eat up the octos leftovers (they can be messy eaters)
ill try feeding if mysid shrimp, and if it doesn't like those i will try fiddler crabs and eventually switch over to frozen
octopuses are escape artist and can go through any space that their beak can get through so i'm using plastic mesh to cover the overflow and will duck tape the lid down (the little critters are suprizingly strong)
to entertain the intelligent octopus i have several shells and will be buying baby safe toys for it...ill also put food in containers for him/her to give them a little extra to do (and for my own amusement)
i have sand in the tank for their sensitive skin (crushed coral would be to ruff) they also like to push the sand around
