Well, my fave is Dave Matthews Band, but right now I'm really really liking My Chemical Romance, the first time I heard Black Parade I cried and had to pull my car over. For older rock, Queen, the Stones, Aerosmith, Skynard, stuff like that.

Phish, although to me their music is just as much jazz as it is rock. But I guess it counts.:)
For straight-up bluesy rock and roll, it's Led Zeppelin, no doubt about it.

Hootie & the Blowfish
Gonna have to go a bit heavier than the previous people
TOOL and Metallica
but the problem is narrowing down to a band that I like most/all of their stuff. There are so many bands out there that I only connect with one or two of their songs. So I can't really call them "favorite" can I?

The Bruisers are my favorite band, not sure if they are classified as rock though.

The Afghan Whigs
Rock/alternative? More of an indie fan here, but I s'pose I like:
Tool
...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead
The Arcade Fire
Ben Folds/ Ben Folds Five (more pop than rock)
!!! (chk chk chk)
Dan Kelly (& the Alpha Males)
The Decemberists
The Drones :headbang2: :headbang2: :headbang2:
Yeah yeah yeahs (partial to them)
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (alternative)
OK Go (rock according to iTunes)
Okkervil River
PAVEMENT!   (alternative indie rock)
Genres are so blurred these days, a band that may be 'rock' one day will be punk the next, then alterna-pop the third.
