This little bugger seems to want to dominate the tank. Can someone please ID this fish. I believe it's a Blue Peacock. Sorry about the flash. Thanks for the help.

It says:

Ok, let's try this again. Here's the pic. I believe this fish is an Aulonocara Nyassae variant (Peacock Blue) but I'm not sure.
Thanks for the help.
This would be a male Sciaenchromis Fryeri (Ahli)
(Electric blue Hap)

Jimmy, thanks for the input. That said he seems to be rather agressive and wants to control the tank. Will he work with my male Peacocks and Yellow Lab or should he be removed?
70 gallon tank
8 fish total
They shouldn't be that agrassive towards others.
To my knowledge he should be compatible with your fish.
Perhaps its size in comparison with the other fish in your tank and trying to secure his territory could be the reason for its behaviour.
But I've taken a closer look at the pic; its bodyshape and its overall color tells me it's a Sciaenochromis Fryeri (Ahli), the coloration of his tail however, doesn't seem to match with the one I have (fish that is, not the tail)
But it could be the lights in my tank though.

I agree it's body shape does point to him being an Ahli. The funny thing is I found a pic in one of my books that looks exactly like him and it's listed as a Aulonocara Nyassae variant (Peacock Blue). What's seems strange to me is that he doesn't have the classic body shape of an Aulonocara rather he has the more bullet shape of a Hap.

hi iam think you have the answer by your self, there is many coulor varity of aulunocara sp.one typ called "chitande typ".So yes,iam think it is a alunocara sp,whitch kind? i pass.
An S.fryerie(ahli) is it not, maybe you folks who want an possitive id in your fish,be a little bit more critical, when you get a answer, check it out in the net or a book(look for pics). It would be a shame if you belive your fish are a predator(ahli)

Thanks for the input as always. Jimbo thanks for posting those pics. He definitely looks like the third pic you posted of the Aulonocara Stuart Granti. He has the same orange color in his anal fin and tail, and has the orange coloration in his body as well.
I pulled up both pics together to look at them and they look identical to me.
Thanks again....
