I decided to get rid of a whack of my juveniles that I have been growing out last week. Most of them were 2 to 3 inches.
So when I went to LFS to tell them that I was bringing in some fish I noticed that they had some nice Carpintes.
I figured that since I didn't really need any food or equipement for the tanks in a trade in this time I would rearrange my tanks and get myself one.
I traded the juveniles for this bad boy, a tube of black aquairum silicone, and a piece of Pangotta (sp?) stone.
Moved my BIG female synspilum into another tank and place the Carpinte in my 55 gallon with my big male JD. He has taken to the new surroundings nicely.
He's 3 inches right now.
Meanwhile the Synspilum has also taken nicely to the new tank. She is pushing everyone around. Setting the pecking order.
She's about 9.5 inches now.
Man I LOVE this hobby.
