Black Plastic Air tubing? It can be used in construction, It gets filled with pesticide, and/or termite killer/repeller, something. Anyway, It's just plastic before the filled with the pesticide, and It's the same size(Inside) as air tubing, overall, it's a little thinner, but less maluable(sp?) Because it's plastic. I was wondering if anyone had ever used something like this for they're tanks?

i dont see any reason you couldnt so long as it is perfectly clean.

I think it would be okay.

Actually there is a new line of aquarium tubing out now that is in blth a silvery grey and black as well... can't remember who makes it but saw it in PJ's Pets

Petco now sells "Stealth" air tubing. It's black and around $5 for 20 ft.

I have it in my 120gal and it works great so far. My background is black anyway so the tubing disappears. I plan to paint the suction cups, which hold it to the glass, with Krylon Fusion flat black.

The tubing shown in the above pic may be nylon. If it's the type I think it is your biggest problem may be it's pliability. It may not bend all that well. It may be a bit tough to connect to air fittings also.

Cool, I'll use it then. If I have any problems, I'll report 'em. It's cool, because I can get yards of the stuff from trash piles(not dumpsters or anything...) at job sites, most of them time I see when the guy lays throws it down, so I don't have to worry about it getting all nasty with shtuff.

I was just working with some of that tubing, Look at the way it will fit togother. It's pointless for the most part, but I'm bored, so I took a Pic. LOOK AT IT! lol
