well hello all you peoples-just found this site and looking forward to scoping it out!i presently have 12 tanks and 1 pond,2 cats,1 dog,2 ferrets,and 4 kids whom i sometimes consider animals too!i have all kinds of cichlid but my prizes are my midas(about 10")and my discus!i call them the queens of the aquarium-lol. im a happy home maker(finished with the fast life) and choose to stay home and tend to ALL the animals,home,yard-think ill go back to work sometime,just to take a vacation-hahaha.glad to have found your site and thanks for finally letting me in!:dance:

hey nolapete,its really good to find someone close by!maybe we can swap fish sometime?!do you know chuckbam?hes across the bridge close to covington.hes sells discus-the closest person i found so far!what kinda fish ya got??me?? its easier to askwhat i dont have-lol

hi jim1212,are you talking about my doggie,cause i have always thought that the discus was a BD!?lol... if your talking about the fish ,is it the red in the tail that says its a RD??never hurts to ask!and thank you also for the warm welcome!!

hi clay no im about an hour away from no,in houma,well you are half right about puppy dog-hes half lab half chow-but i think lab dominates.he was born on valentines so hes pretty special boy-lol
thanks daayda and kim!got some batteries for my cam so i will try to get some present photos!
hi nolapete-im not good with new orleans at all!!!! i will get so lost its not funny.i had to go on map quest just to get to chucks and i still get lost every time i go!sounds to me like someone likes the rainbows!im surprised your krib hasnt killed any of your fish i had to keep mine seperate from others or i would wake up to find at least one dead fish a day-took em out and no more doa!had similiar problems with my lake vics but can keep with a few species with no problem,i have peacocks,zebras,ele yellows,blue dolphins.tangerine tigers,rainbows,severums,jacks,flowerhorn,red terror,gouramies,sailfin mollies angels,midas,and of course my discus and a few others that dont come to the top of my head!lots of different bottom feeders too-well iv said to much and its past my bedtime,after all i need all the beauty sleep i can get!so goodnite and cya later!

hey missy nice to see some one else from down the bayou. im from houma aswell and also have a 10" midas. been raising cichlids quite soom time, and just keep having to get bigger tanks. if you ever lookn for some thing kinda rare found this guy in boutte that has all kinds of different fish not found around here. if your lookn for some thing let me know i'll send you some directions.
