I set my nano up last friday and finished mixing and adding water by monday - only got small RO unit! I added some water, sand and a small piece of LR from my established 4ft tank and some media from the filter, on tuesday the ammonia was up slightly but since thursday it has been 0 - has it cycled? Nitrites and nitrates are also 0 now.
Also I'm having trouble keeping temp down and I haven't even got the heater on - I assume as it is so small the heat generated by the powerhead and pump is heating water up.

I had been putting food in - frozen home made mix.

only 0.5

If it were me...I'd add a prawn in there and let it reach a higher ammonia reading and then let it complete the cycle. The rock you used might be great and helped it cycle and if so it will help again. But better to be safe and hey, another of those lessons in patience this hobby insists on teaching us all.
