Carbon media and plants supplements

Is it necessary to remove carbon media when using plants supplements ?

Mmmmm interesting, i should of thought about this before adding ferts to my tank for the past 2 weeks :p

No you can keep the carbon in there while dosing your fertilizers. The carbon is not going to extract your ferts very much. You can actually removed the carbon as it's ultimately not needed in a planted aquarium.

Its debated that it doesn't remove micro ferts needed by plants. I would take it out, its unneeded in any tank unless you are trying to remove something.
