I found some mugs for plants to suit the tank. Got them put in yesterday. Jack seems to enjoy picking at the gravel-and the plants.
This tank is like something out of a Disney movie-not my usual style at all and I love it because it is so different.

i like it... just different what i like about it is its fake but its not trying to be natural.

I like it. I would double check to see where the pottery was made. often times imported ones use lead based glazes.

Hmmm, maybe. I know not to drink out of those kinds but not sure if it would not leach if you coated it.

oh great! I didn't think of lead. The cups were in the dishware section, but they are from China, so given the news lately, it is possible there is lead.
I wonder if I could chip off a bit of paint and have it tested.
Back to the starting board I guess. Phooey, I really like these cups.

Stuff from the US is often safe. Stuff from Europe is often risky. Not sure about China but if they treat pottery like they do dog food....
