Driftwood Question

Well that does give me answers, by not saying anythign about what I was thinking(which means it's obviously not needed.
I have actually worked with driftwood before. I have used all kinds of different wire brushes and made some Exelent peices. Those were for staining and hanging on the wall though.
 
Some pieces I don't soak. I want the blackwater look.
 
Depends on what kind of fish you want to keep in the tank that has the driftwood. Some species of tetras for example like the tannins that the driftwood provide in the water and helps them to bring out some of their colors.

not to mention that tannins are a natural antifungal and can help prevent SOME common fish ailments.
