Hi

I recently introduced a Pictus Catfish to my aquarium. Last night i watched as he continually swam upwards in to the water current from the filter. He did this for about 3hrs. When the tank lights went off he then started swimming around normally. I am worried that this may be a sign that there is low oxygen in the water. However all othe fish appear fine.

Does anyone know if this is a worrying sign or just normal behaviour.

thanks
Rob

Pictus cats are very active and very playful. Chances are good that he was just playing in the current - mine do that sometimes.
