My star and stripe puffer was eaten by my crab! All my tank inhabitants were doing great now the arrow crab has gone crazy. It attacked and ate the pufferfish. Any thoughts on good tankmates for this aggresive crab in a 55.:confused:

How big is the arrow crab and how big was the puffer?

I would think that the puffer would eat the crab, not the other way around...must be one decent sized crab.

If it were me, I'd nix the crab. They are notorious troublemakers.

The puffer was approx. 7 inches. As for the crab it has a main body about an inch across with the head being 3 inches tall, each of its eight legs are somewhere around 6 to 8 inches long, and the two arms are 4 inches long with bright blue pinchers on the end. It has molted twice since I acquired it and will likely do so agian soon. As for getting rid of it I would rather it not come to that. The thing does an awesome job keeping the tank clean. Given this things size and tenacity do you think it could survive in an aggresive 265 gallon tank?
