yeah, that's like a scene from my dream tank... at some point I want a giant mudskipper and crab tank... if it's big enough with archers too.
for now, I'd settle for one of those plants for my red claw tank!

I agree, looks plastic.
Mudskippers+archers = one huge tank.

Its definitely not poison ivy, and yes it looks plastic to me as well.
I had fiddlers in with my mudskipper, she ate them. I might try again when I upgrade, and give the crabs a lot more rockwork to hide in.

perhaps mermaid weed, Proserpinaca palustris?

The leaves are jagged. I guess other than that it doesn't looks so similar.

Mermaid weed is an underwater stem plant. The leaves form around the stem. On this plant it has one main leaf that splits into five sections. Pretty much the only thing in common is the jaggedness of the leaves.:)

the leaves in the OP's picture look like all one leaf with deep clefts between the sections. the creeper leaves look like 5 separate leaves.

Agreed...but then again...that could just be because they are fake, and that's the way they are mass produced. It could have been trying to mimic the creeper. The veins in the plant are also less defined than they are in the creeper plant.

But it is a very close match

hmmm... is virginia creeper known to tolerate water, and brackish water at that?
I really would love something like this for my brackish tank... but live plants, no plastic!
loaches r cool

You mean immersed brackish plants? Not shure whats available there. But there are a lot of true aquatics that will cope with light brackish, depends on how much salt your talking about. There is a long list that will tolerate up to about 1.005, after that the list grows short.

It's common in pine forests in the south, I doubt it would work in brackish.
