i would get some ghost shrimp first. tetras i think are known to eat shrimp. if you do get them have plenty of hiding spaces.

I haven't (seen) any evidence of my bloodfins or my cories eating any of the six amano or ghost shrimp that I put into my tank. My amanos hide, however, so I only know where 2 or 3 of them are. It's entirely possible the rest are dead. I usually see one or two hiding in the open (hiding off in the corners) and none of the fish seem to care.

The ghost shrimp wander the tank and aren't really harassed by anything yet either. In fact the cories moved away from a larger one when it got close.

However, to limit the usefullness of this infomation, I've only had the shrimp in my tank 72 hours. Give me a week and I may have none left. Testing it out with ghost shrimp isn't a bad idea though. They're dirt cheap and, so far, they seem to be much more bold than my amanos.

I agree with the suggestion of hiding places which the cories can't get into...the shrimp will be vulnerable when they molt

The Corys wont be your problem, the tetras and other fish will. Well, not the neons ;)

Young shrimp are more likely to be eaten than adults, given the size of your fish, but with enough hiding places (plants/rocks) the shrimp should be able to survive.
