I did a large WC to my dp tank and now i only see two out of the three Dp's. I took out all of the decorations to rid them of cyno(hate that stuff) and he is nowhere to be found. I hope i didnt put him down the drain on accident. :headshake2:
Could it have jumped out.???

i would carefully check every nook and crevice of your decorations that you removed.

all the decorations are still out and in the sink. He is no where to be found in the tank or in the sink. THe tank is still bare...dont see him :(

It could be most anywhere...

so can they dig and bury themselves in the gravel, i dont want to squash him when putting stuff back if he is buried under the gravel.

they won't bury themselves, but if you did a gravel vac they may have gotten trapped under a piece of it

well i guess he went down the drain, i dont see how though because the tubing is smaller than the puffer, and i usally would notice? today has been a bad day (elephantnose died for no reason, and a heater broke.)

They are too quick to get trapped under gravel and they don't dig. I have accidentally sucked one up in the siphon but I noticed and just scooped him out of the bucket. There has been times where I didn't see one or more of my DPs for a week. they blend in really well. Just keep your eye out for him. If he went down the drain thats sad but there is nothing you can do now.
