I have a 55gallon FOWLR tank. I had 2 tank-raised false percula clowns for about 2 years when the male got sick and died. I know it's a bad idea to mix clown species, but I'm wondering how well the one I have left will take to a new false percula clown. Has anyone done this or have any experience with it?
Thanks.

agree,Go for a smaller clown yep. Clowns are very placid and loving.

It all depends on timing of addition and variaty of addition. Common clowns are your best bet for 'experimenting' . Id say the bigger/older the fish the more prone it will be to express aggresion, especially if it's hosting a anemone or sometimes even a mushroom.:)
