Dwarf Gourami or Angelfish?

Which is better for a begginers center piece fish
i know angels need at least a 29+ gallon tank i just wanted to know others opinion

I like Angels better but it depends on the size of the tank of course.

Unless it is a 55, go with the DG.

having all of that would be too much for a 29 gallon if you add an angel.

dwarf gouramis can be hard to keep. if you are going to keep a pair, dont get two males. females are silvery in coloration, and can be hard to find
